Home Church Questions
1. What are some specific examples in Mark 5:1-5 that demonstrate Satan’s goal is destruction?
2. The “father of lies” often makes the path leading to death appear like the path leading to freedom and life. What is an example of a lie/deception the enemy has used to tempt you?
3. What are some specific examples in Mark 5:6-13 that demonstrate Jesus’ power and authority over evil?
4. Why do people often think Jesus has come for the purpose of preventing us from good/fun? Have you ever thought like this? How does this story challenge this mentality?
5. Why are the people afraid (v.15) and why do they beg Jesus to depart (v.17) after he restores this man? In what ways are the people thinking rightly and wrongly about Jesus?
6. Consider Who Jesus is and what He has done by taking on evil and death for us. With this in mind, how would you answer the question: “what have you (Jesus) to do with me (v.7)?”
7. What truth did you learn about God in this week’s message?
8. How are you encouraged or challenged by this passage?
9. What is one step of obedience you will take this week?
Mission Focus
UPG FOCUS: The Kahar (Hindu Traditions) in India
The Kahar people of India number around 8.8 million and primarily follow Hindu traditions, with no known
Christian or evangelical presence among them. Historically associated with water transport, farming, and
labor, the Kahar remain closely connected to family, caste, and Hindu religious traditions. Pray that God
would open their hearts to the truth of Jesus Christ, raise up faithful workers to serve them with humility
and compassion, and strengthen any Kahar believers to boldly share the gospel with their families and communities.

Fellowship 101
New to Fellowship? We invite you to join us Sunday, November 8, at 9:00 a.m. to learn more about Fellowship Bible Church! This is a great opportunity to discover our mission, values, and ministries and hear more about what God is doing and where He is leading us. You’ll meet ministry leaders, have the opportunity to ask questions, and learn how you can become more connected to our church family. We’ll meet in the first-floor conference room. We look forward to seeing you! Register at fellowshipconway.org/register.
New to Fellowship?
We are so glad that you chose to worship with our Fellowship Family this morning. If you are joining us for the first time or have been checking us out for a few weeks, we are excited you are here and would love to meet you. Please fill out the “Connect Card” and bring it to the Connection Center in the Atrium, we would love to say “hi” and give you a gift.
Operation Christmas Child
Collection Week is November 16–23, and we want everyone at Fellowship to be part of this incredible opportunity to share God’s love around the world! Every shoebox is more than a gift—it’s an opportunity for a child to hear the life-changing message of Jesus. On average, each shoebox creates an opportunity for seven people to hear the Gospel!
Let’s work together to expand God’s Kingdom, one shoebox at a time! You can pack a shoebox, build one online, or serve during Collection Week. Every person can make a difference, and every box is an opportunity to share the hope of Christ.
Ready to be part of something bigger? Find everything you need—including packing guidelines, online shoebox instructions, and Collection Week volunteer sign-ups—at fellowshipconway.org/occ. Let’s do this together, Fellowship!
Fellowship Connect
Looking for a place to connect at Fellowship? Fellowship Connect is a 10-week opportunity to meet people, build meaningful relationships, and discover what it means to be part of our church family. Start building community with others every Sunday, now - November 29, during the 9 AM Service in the Fireside Room (2nd floor). Email Michael Harrison at mharrison@fellowshipconway.org.

Deacon Ministry: Serving for Our Church Family
We need help to identify needs! We’ve launched a Deacon Request Form primarily for physical repairs and maintenance around the Fellowship campus and practical needs among our widows and elderly. If you notice something broken, a door that won’t close on the Fellowship campus, or know someone who could use a helping hand, let us know! Visit fellowshipconway.org/deacons to learn more and submit a request.
Petra Project
Please pray for Ken and John Hargrave as they travel to the Middle East to train pastors and learn more about Fellowship’s newest missions partnership, the Petra Project. Together with local churches, this initiative shares the gospel with refugees, equips refugee believers, and prepares refugees to carry the gospel as they return home and plant churches.
