Pam’s Women’s Retreat Story

After attending Fellowship Bible Church for nearly 26 years, Pam Henry surprised even herself by signing up for her very first women’s retreat last year. “I was anxious about giving up a whole weekend,” she admits, “but God knew what I needed.”

Pam had been walking through seasons of grief and loss, quietly searching for something she couldn’t quite name. From the moment she arrived at the peaceful Red Apple Inn, she sensed this weekend would be different. “It’s such a tranquil, serene place—you’re automatically at ease,” she recalls.

What she found there went far beyond a relaxing getaway. “I met some amazing women,” Pam says. “I know a lot of women at Fellowship, but I didn’t know them on a deeper level. That connection has truly been a blessing to me.” Over the course of the retreat, she slowed down enough to hear God’s voice and to let Him work in her heart. “My great Restorer did just what I needed—my heart was restored, revived, re-energized, and reinvigorated for the Lord.”

The impact followed her home. “Now when I walk into church each Sunday, I see those ladies, and during the week we’ve stayed connected. I have a true sense of belonging to community,” she shares.

Pam urges other women not to miss this opportunity:
