Home Church Questions
1. How do you think about the Kingdom of God? How would you describe it to someone?
2. Explain what it means that the Kingdom of God is already here AND it is not yet fully here. Do you tend to emphasize the “already” or the “net yet”? Explain or share an example.
3. Mark 4 emphasizes the importance of hearing the Word (see vv.23-25). How is “hearing” important for our continued growth in Christ? Why do you think God has chosen to rule over His people through hearing?
4. Share what it looks like for you to “hear God’s Word.” What are you currently doing to make sure you are actively hearing and responding?
5. How does the parable in vv.26-29 highlight God’s role in advancing His Kingdom. Why should this give us confidence? Is there a specific area in your life where you need to be reminded that God is in control?
6. How does the parable in vv.30-32 highlight the importance of humility in God’s kingdom? Give an example when you have seen God work through humility. What is an example of something ordinary or mundane in your life that God might want to use to advance His Kingdom?
7. What truth did you learn about God in this week’s message?
8. How are you encouraged or challenged by this passage?
9. What is one step of obedience you will take this week?
Mission Focus
The Ming in China
The Ming people of China number around 15,000 and have no known believers or churches among them. A Han Chinese–Qiang people with a distinct cultural identity, most Ming are nonreligious, though some retain animistic beliefs. Pray that God would remove spiritual blindness, awaken a hunger for Him, and open hearts to the gospel, providing opportunities for Christ to be made known despite opposition to Christian outreach. Pray for an unstoppable movement to Christ among the Ming.

Deacon Ministry: Serving for Our Church Family
Over the past year, our deacons have cared for widows and elderly members, supported families during times of loss, prayed with hospitalized members, and tackled long-standing campus maintenance projects. We’re grateful for the heart and hands of those serving, and we’re just getting started! To help identify needs, we’ve launched a Deacon Request Form primarily for physical repairs and maintenance around the Fellowship campus and practical needs among our widows and elderly. If you notice something broken, a door that won’t close on the Fellowship campus, or know someone who could use a helping hand, let us know! Visit fellowshipconway.org/deacons to learn more and submit a request.
