Home Church Questions

•  Read Judges 5:1-31 again. (Perhaps try reading from a different translation.)

•  What stands out in this passage, or from the message?

•  What are some none church examples of the need for each person to participate and do their part?

•  Describe a time when you experienced the consequences of a lack of participation;  either because you did not participate or others left you without enough support.

•  What is the most fulfilling thing you do in your life? Why do you think that is so?

•  How can you make a contribution to the purposes of God in a way that is fun and fulfilling?  Does         this sound like "willing volunteers" (v. 9)?

•  Why do you think some people stayed behind by the campfires (v. 16)?

•  Why do you think Dan lingered by the ships in the coves (v.17)?

•  Why did the tribes of Zebulun and Naphtali risk their very lives (v.18)?

•  What does this passage ask of us personally?
