Missions

Here at Fellowship we love and highly value Missions. We believe that a robust understanding of who God is and what he is doing (our Theology) compels us to be actively involved throughout the world (our Missiology). We get the privilege of co-laboring with God to reach every tribe, tongue and nation with the good news of Jesus Christ, who is our only hope. We love being involved in God’s plan to reach the whole world.

Nicaragua

Through our work in Nicaragua we are able to do short-term mission trips with long-term commitment, relationships and impact. We take two trips per year to train pastors and church leaders in a Bible Institute established by Fellowship. The bible institute aims to equip local pastors and church leaders with a theological education that they do not have access to otherwise. Over the course of the 5-6 years the institute work through a basic bible college curriculum.  There are other ministry opportunities available as well (women, children, medical).

Czech Republic

CZ Summer Trip: Each summer we take High School and College students to the Czech Republic to teach an evangelistic English camp. We have an ongoing relationship with a church in the Czech Republic that we partner with to connect the Czech Students with a local church for continued growth once we head home.

Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child (OCC) is a huge part of how Fellowship Conway reaches the whole world with the Gospel. Our area has collected thousands of boxes which are sent year after year, across the globe, to reach children who may never have had the chance to hear the Gospel otherwise.   Click here to learn more about Fellowship’s ministry through Operation Christmas Child.

International Friendship Outreach

IFO provides believers with the opportunity to befriend international students and demonstrate the unconditional love of Christ in word and deed.  Our goals are that students would come to know Christ, grow in their faith, and return to their countries as ambassadors for Christ. Click here to learn more information about IFO or contact IFO Conway Director, Mi-seon Kim, to learn how you can get involved.

Missions Resources

At Fellowship, we believe that God’s plan is to use the church to reach the world with the good news of the Gospel of Christ, as Jesus calls us to do (ref. Matthew 28:18-20). For this reason, we prioritize equipping church leaders to be involved in Mission by going across the street as well as overseas. We do this by partnering with local churches, missions agencies, and ministries, as well as through investing relationally (and financially) in global missions. We also believe that every believer has a responsibility to be involved in the Mission of sharing Christ.

Below you will find several great resources to help you get involved in God’s purpose and leave ‘mission fingerprints’.

Pray

“Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should.” Colossians 4:2-4 (NIV)

Below are just a few resources to help you get involved in what God is doing around the world through partnering with Him in prayer for local and global missions, missionaries, and believers.

Give

“Wealth and honor come from you; you are the ruler of all things. In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all. Now, our God, we give you thanks, and praise your glorious name. But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.” ~ 1 Chronicles 29:12-14 (NIV)

Here at Fellowship, we believe a responsible steward of God’s abundant resources obediently surrenders those resources to be used for God’s purposes.
