The Pisek team is safe and sound in the Czech Republic! Both teams (Pisek & Pardubice) landed in the country on Tuesday. We were given a special opportunity to be able to tour Prague for a few hours before we traveled to American team training. It is always a joy to see people’s faces light up when they are able to discover Prague for the first time. We were at American team training at Cesky Sternberk for three days. This was a great time for our team to recoup, receive training, and prepare our hearts for the days ahead. Our team has already become one marked with deep relationships. It is neat to see how the Lord has already knit the hearts of our team members together. We have also met Pisek’s team leaders: Veronika, Ted, and Vojtech. Each one of these Czech believers have stolen our hearts in such a short time. We arrived at our camp near the German border today. It seems to be a great facility with a rare commodity, an astro-turf field! Although we are thrilled about all the things God is going to do here in the hearts and lives of people, we have also been facing some trials in the past few days. Between a mix of unmet expectations and miscommunications, we have been challenged in many ways. Despite the trials, God has been displaying his sovereignty in very tangible ways, and is unifying our team. All our team members have been extremely mature and flexible; I have been blown away by them all! All this to say, we desperately covet your prayers. He is worthy of our best and we are praying as camp begins tomorrow! Thank you in advance for all the prayers!
