Self-Preservation or Self-Denial? (Luke 22:47-62)
Faithless disciples abandon everything they know, to preserve what they cannot keep.
Jesus lives out what He prayed, “Not my will, but yours be done” even though He knows it will cost Him everything.
True disciples recognize self-denial is always necessary.
“Jesus – The Savior for all and example for disciples – models self-denial for the purpose of God.”
- Monday: Matthew 16:13-20
