A Biblical foundation and understanding of the mercies of God,
urges a total offering of self.
Respond to God’s mercies with your whole self.
We are pushed to conform to the pattern of this world,
but called to be transformed by the renewing of our mind.
Resist the mold of the world.
Renew the mind with the Word.
In view of the mercies of God, all that He has done,
we present our entire selves to Him as
No other response is reasonable.

Next Steps From Today’s Message
- I will renew my mind in the Word every day this week for at least 10 minutes each day.
- I will take steps to eliminate distractions that hinder me from offering myself as a living sacrifice as the Holy Spirit directs.
- I will take the SHAPE Assessment this week and/or choose at least one area to try out from the list of opportunities.
Home Church Questions
- Read Romans 12:1-2.
- Is there anything that was new, memorable, or meaningful from this week’s message?
- Have you taken the SHAPE assessment? Anything surprise you in the results?
- How often do you reflect on the mercies of God? What are some of His mercies that mean the most to you? Why?
- What does/would being a living sacrifice look like in your daily life?
- How do you personally practice renewing your mind? What patterns do you see in your life when you are not consistently renewing your mind in the Word?
- What steps will you take this week to put Romans 12:1-2 into practice?
- If you have taken the SHAPE assessment, but did not select an area to try out, please take a few minutes looking at your results and the list of opportunities. Click an area of service to give it a try.
